There seems to be 2 different kids of Christians how do we distigush the different ones?
There are people like Jimmy Carter & Bill Moyers who are very peaceful then there are the Palin, Westboro Baptist church types. It is not fair to true Christians to be thrown in with the Palin type so how do they make sure they are not.? Thank you.

there is only ONE type fo Christian – those who accept Jesus as their Risen Lord and Saviour.
sadly there are people who CLAIM to be Christian – like westboro & hilter – those who are Christians only in name and do not walk the walk, people who pass judgment on others and make very immature judgments.
