Church news: St. Andrew's plans Eighth Day Feast programs (pittsburghtribune-review)
_ Thu, 03 May 2012 17:23:00 by Sewickley Herald_ St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church's Eighth Day Feast programs in May will explore the idea of going public, living in ways that foster community growth and the public good. The program titled "Working Toward the Public Good" will be held on Monday, May 14 and 21 at the church, 801 Beaver St., Sewickley, The topics of the program are: Monday, "Going Viral: Share the Vision"; May 14, "Inviting Investment: Climb on Board"; May 21, "Rewarding Return: Count the Profits." The doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner is served by 6:45. There is no cost; everyone is welcome. North Way Christian Community Jim Platt, professor of theology at Duquesne University and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, will be teaching a free lecture series at the Sewickley Valley YMCA Community Activity Center.
