A bus full of Austrian pilgrims crashed in Croatia on Wed., but nobody got injured.
The bus full of Austrians was heading to Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina when it smashed into a fence along the highway close to Sestanovac in southern Croatia. There were 47 pilgrims on the bus.
Medjugorje marks the 30th anniversary since the apparition of the Virgin Mary to 6 school children as reported tagza.com.
Medjugorje is one of the hamlets of the Western Herzegovina municipality of Citluk in the previous Yugoslavia. The name Medjugorje is Slavic and means “area between two moutains”. This real life story occurs in the Bijakovici section of Medjugorje. On the afternoon of June twenty-four, 1981, two girls, Ivanka Ivankovic, age fifteen, and Mirjana Dragicevic, age sixteen, were returning home from a walk. Looking towards the hill called Crnica, Ivanka saw a bright silhouette of a girl. She announced to Mirjana, “It is the Gospa!” (Our Lady).
On June 25, the 2 girls returned to the hill with four others. Their names are, Vicka Ivankovic, age sixteen, Ivan Dragivevic, age sixteen, Maria Pavlovic, age 16 and Jakov Colo, age 10. A figure in white was calling them to come up the hill. The children were somehow transported in some confusing way to a pretty Lady who calls herself, the Queen of Peace. The Lady gives messages to the seers for the entire world. To date, the Queen of Peace has left thousands of messages. Initially, the messages were almost everyday. Now, for the last a few years, they come on the 25th of each month.
The idealists describe Our Lady as pretty beyond words ; glowing with holiness. Her talks with the youngsters have taken the type of motherly sensitivity and love, and she took the job of both ma and catechist in advising and directing their lives. She greets them with, “Praised be Jesus, my dear children.” At the end of the apparition she asserts, “Go in peace, my dear children.” She appears to the 6 idealists as a three dimensional real image and always appears amid brilliant flashes of light.
Her appearances generally happen about 6:40 pm each day. In Medjugorje, masses of people come daily at this time to take part in the event with prayer, song, the rosary and the Mass, which is frequently concelebrated by 30 or more priests. The entire evening service lasts about 3 hours. And this has been happening daily since 1981!

We see the Sanctified Virgin as we see all of the folk. We pray, we talk with her and we touch her.
She stressed : “Peace in the world is in a state of crisis. Humankind must be reconciled with Almighty God and with one another.”
She promises us she’ll leave a visible sign at the place of the apparitions in Medjugorje, for all humanity.
The Blessed Ma guaranteed to confide secrets to us.
This time, this period of grace, is vital. After the visible sign, those still living will have little time for conversion.
Because of this, the Blessed Virgin invites us to urgent reconciliation and conversation.
The Blessed Mother continues to invite us to prayer and fasting : “You can not remember that with prayer and fasting you can stop a war from going down. You can suspend natural laws.”
Our Lady began imparting systems to the idealists in Medjugorje awfully early on. She has informed the idealists that each one of them would receive 10 techniques. Our Lady has imparted these methods to the 6 idealists progressively over these past eighteen years. Three idealists have received all 10, and subsequently, they have stopped having the daily apparition with Our Lady. The other 3 each have 9. The methods refer to the idealists themselves, to the Church, to the sign, to all humanity, and to everyone, and to the entire world and to Medjugorje.
